| Product care | Although Ondou products are intended for everyday use, they are also functional art objects and require handling with care. While the high-fired stoneware ceramic is extremely durable and can resist scratches and common damages, it is still brittle and can break when too much force is applied. Avoid exposing your pottery to sudden temperature changes, such as placing a cold dish in the microwave or a hot dish in cold water, as this can cause thermal shock and damage. |

It features a white matte glaze, unevenly applied over spontaneously carved light beige clay, highlighting the texture and marks where glaze and clay meet — elegant yet entirely unpredictable.
Unlike other pottery techniques, kurinuki begins with a solid block of clay. Each cup is slowly carved from a single mass of stoneware, allowing the form to emerge through subtraction rather than addition. This intuitive process creates textured, sculptural surfaces and organic asymmetry, as the material and hands guide its character. No two pieces are exactly alike.
This cup is both functional and collectible, ideal for mindful drinking rituals or display in thoughtful spaces.
Each cup is individually numbered within the limited Nº2 series.
