RAW INCENSE BURNER

Raw incense burner is crafted from black stoneware, celebrating the raw beauty of the material itself. Its unglazed surface reveals the subtle elegance of dark clay, allowing the ritual of incense burning and the smoke to take center stage without overwhelming the space. The symmetrical, cone-shaped design resting on a plate evokes the comforting feel of a chimney or, perhaps, a witch’s hat – adding a touch of magic to your space.

The unglazed surface will naturally absorb the scent and residue over time, creating its own history, but can easily be washed for refreshment.

Designed primarily for cone incense, pressed sticks, or ropes, the plate also features a hole for holding bamboo sticks – simply use it without the cone.

USAGE:

• Instructions for cones, pressed sticks and ropes: place a piece of incense on a plate, wait few seconds and place the cone on.
• Instructions for classic long bamboo sticks: the plate has a hole for bamboo sticks. Use the burner without the cone.
• A draft helps keep the incense burning well by providing oxygen. For a stronger, more visible smoke, allow incense to burn for couple seconds before placing the cone.⁠

• Place the burner on a fire-resistant surface. The plate’s bottom may become warm after prolonged use of certain incense types (e.g. cones).
