| Product care | Although Ondou products are intended for everyday use, they are also functional art objects and require handling with care. While the high-fired stoneware ceramic is extremely durable and can resist scratches and common damages, it is still brittle and can break when too much force is applied. Avoid exposing your pottery to sudden temperature changes, such as placing a cold dish in the microwave or a hot dish in cold water, as this can cause thermal shock and damage. |

Hand-carved using the Japanese kurinuki technique, each cup is slowly shaped from a single block of clay. This intuitive, sculptural process creates a textured surface and organic form, embracing beauty in imperfection.
Each cup is slightly different and individually numbered within its batch of the Nº9 series, highlighting its unique place in the collection.
Note: The clay retains heat well, so the cups without handle may become hot to the touch with very hot liquids. To ensure a comfortable hold, avoid filling it to the top. Take it slow, enjoy the ritual.
