With proper care, they will last for many years. |

| Handmade nature | Each item is handmade and shows the marks of this process, including intentional “imperfections.” The products pictured reflect the overall shape, size and color of the piece. However, each item is unique, with differences in glaze, texture and slight variations in size, shape and capacity. Kurinuki Cup Nº12

Unlike other pottery techniques, kurinuki begins with a solid block of clay. Each cup is slowly carved from a single mass of stoneware, allowing the form to emerge through subtraction rather than addition. This intuitive process creates textured, sculptural surfaces and organic asymmetry, as the material and hands guide its character. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Cups are made with a sculptural approach, so some pieces may feel slightly heavier than typical cups. These are functional, collectible objects made to be appreciated in thoughtful spaces.
Available finishes:
- fully glazed — softly muting the wild clay and sand; milky tones;
- partly glazed – leaving textured wild clay areas exposed; these areas are slightly rough at first, becoming softer with use.
Special care piece.
This cup features fine crazing in the glaze — tiny surface lines that are purely cosmetic. They do not penetrate the clay body. The stoneware is fired to 1220 °C and fully waterproof. Over time, the crazing may develop light staining from dark liquids. Please read the full care instructions below.
Not dishwasher safe. Avoid abrasive or metal scrubbers.
